Ekelle Releases New Music Video For "Come With Me", Just in Time For Thotumn

Have no fear, Hot Girl Summer may be over, but Thotumn is here! With the warm weather still around, who would even guess it’s fall? Ekelle’s latest video, “Come With Me” will definitely have you feeling like you’re still on that vacation cruise.

Come with me is a tropical house inspired groove that speaks of that hot summer love we just can’t forget. With its vibrant setting and picturesque landscape shots you would never guess that this video was shot in the Cherry Beach, Sunnyside Beach and High Park areas of Toronto, Canada. Directed by Raegine Welch and makeup done by Sharlene Cumberbatch of Jewel Faces, this all female team wanted to convey a carefree and fun vibe.

On the video, Ekelle said, “I love the summertime! The warm sun makes me feel so happy. I think summer makes everyone happier. Everyone is more relaxed, looking their best and more willing to stay out and have fun. I think that’s why it’s so easy to fall in love. As long as everyone’s on the same page there’s nothing wrong with having a summer lover.”

Embracing her Caribbean roots in the summer and spitting fire bars in the winter has become somewhat of a habit for Ekelle, echoing the likes of Tory Lanez and Nicki Minaj.
