The witching hour is upon us as Ukrainian-born, Los Angeles-based singer, rapper, and songwriter Alina Pash has joined forces with Irish-born alt disruptor Bambie Thug (they/them/fae) for a captivating new version of latest single “Bad Witch.” The powerful pair of enchantresses take a similar approach to their genre-smashing and shapeshifting sound, letting their unconventional but fierce style reign free and summon listeners into their thrilling world. The collaborative offering is no exception as they blend their alchemy of influences and make it clear that there’s a new coven in town.

I’ve admired Alina since I heard her song ‘Witch.’ I always knew we were aligned so when we got in contact and she asked me to jump on her track it was a no brainer,” shares Bambie Thug. “My verse on ‘Bad Witch’ is all about owning my power in business, sex, and soul. I can’t wait to make more music together, it’s a blessing having another mystic mate in the music industry!”

Bambie Thug brought the perfect edge to my soft, sexy vibe — like we completed each other,” Alina adds. “Filming the visuals under a full moon in the LA mountains was a ritual of co-creation. It felt like we were weaving a massive web, connecting and vibrating with each other's energy. That’s real power — coming together, lifting each other up, and moving as one force.”

The fresh new version of “Bad Witch” unites Alina and Bambie — Eurovision 2024’s standout act from Ireland — two powerful forces who channel the mystical witch spirit in their own unique ways. Inspired by the witchcraft-centered 2000s TV series Charmed, the track celebrates the diverse sides of individuals and encourages them to embrace their true selves. While historically witches were feared, today the word carries a message of fostering personal and universal growth, a badge that both Alina and Bambie wear proudly. This release is an anthem for today’s “witches” — those who are aware of their power, strong, and free to express themselves.

"It was pure magic to collaborate with a true artistic witch like Bambie Thug,” Alina continues. “I remember us driving through LA, heading to the studio — talking about life, symbols, and signs, finding all these little parallels between us. It felt like I was speaking to my twin, open-hearted and raw, yet we were completely different in some ways. That’s the beauty of it — accepting each other, embracing our contrasts, and supporting each other. Our connection, raw and real, is woven into the song, the visuals, and our friendship now.”

Alina Pash is a genre-defying artist who has established herself as one of the most active Ukrainian musical voices in Europe. Since participating and placing third in the Ukrainian edition of The X Factor in 2016, she has utilized her platform to not only share her multifaceted talent and style, but also provide a voice for the voiceless. “Bad Witch,” released earlier this month and has garnered early support from Spotify’s Global Hip-Hop and Apple Music’s New Music Daily playlists, offers the first taste of what’s to come later this year from Alina.
