Bay Area multi-instrumentalist and Toro y Moi bass player, Patrick Jeffords brings us a new video from his solo project, Kid Trails.  Providing a cozy, care-free melody in "My Own Place", Jeffords explores the fringes of Marin County for a place somewhere "peaceful we can stay."  

Written shortly after finishing up the last Toro y Moi tour, Jeffords retreated to the Bay Area where he penned the new tune.  Patrick reveals his inspiration for this new track and subsequent video,

"It seems like a change in environment can help with a positive change in one's overall outlook on life & mental well-being, but often times it is fleeting, temporary, and ultimately unattainable. Pondering big moves and dramatic life changes are overwhelming for me, and I tend to want to hide in "my own place," or escape to a peaceful scenario even if it isn't permanent."
