Who is Mr Hip? Mr. Hip is a vegan, jazzy, full-time English professor turned full-time hip-hop artist, poet, painter, and avid lover of all things art. Based in Los Angeles, CA and originally from [Southeast] Washington, DC, his music blends an eclectic mix of rap, style, swag, and music for the hipsters as well as the streets. Mr. Hip has performed all throughout the New England States, New York, and Washington, DC at local art galleries, nightclubs, poetry venues, and schools (high schools/colleges/universities). He has been releasing a consistently satisfying single every few weeks since 2017.
Mr Hip’s “The Recipe”, directed by Daniel Roman, is the latest music video from his recent album, “VEGAN PARADISE”. The album was recorded in Paris, France and the music video was shot in Los Angeles. It is a vegan friendly hip-hop song for those that want to cook it up and sauce it up!
