DMV Based Artist MoonManFlo Releases His New Single/Video "Dub Rn"

MoonManFlo is a DMV based genreless artist that has drawn from musical inspirations across different artists and areas. His goal artistically is to not only make good music, but to create experiences and tell stories in ways that will have you unscrambling the puzzle.

This creative innovator is a co-founder of the DMV-based group, 90s TeeVee with Lord Iro, YF Tee Shirt, and Jordan Rietto, as well as one half of the UK-based hip hop duo, Gemini with YK Millz.

We’re excited to share MoonManFlo’s DOPE new single “Dub Rn”, which was produced by Kiyoto, as well as the incredible, self-directed, music video. The track itself will be featured on MoonManFlo’s upcoming project entitled "Owuraku."

Speaking about his new release, MoonManFlo says “So many people have resonated with the message in this song since it released. It feels like everyone, no matter what their circumstance is, is in a transitional period where all they can see is the setbacks and obstacles. However, this song is about persistence in spite of that. Seeing all of the negatives as an opportunity to start new and find yourself so that you can spread that same optimism and support to others. The video is very reminiscent of kids programming. The idea is that trying to remain positive through all of the struggle can feel numbing. It's until we embrace the negative aspects of life that we can truly feel the positives. It whispers, "the show must go on" even though it wants to scream it”.

Fans of Kota the Friend, Saba, and Duckwrth, specifically, and quality music in general, will love what MoonManFlo is bringing to the table, so watch the music video for “Dub Rn” below, stream it on Spotify and connect with him on social media.
