Afrobeat Artist Runtown Shares New Video For "Oh Oh Oh (Lucie)"

Nigerian Afrobeat artist Runtown’s visuals for "Oh Oh Oh (Lucie)" arrive to accompany his first official single since "Unleash", which is now approaching 4.5 million views on YouTube, and signals more music to come from him in 2019. The video is a beautifully-choreographed tribute to his native Nigeria, with a signature Runtown twist as he weaves elements of reggae and hip hop in behind his harmonious vocals.

Driven by traditional African percussion, timeless soul and an irresistible pop bounce, Runtown has quietly become one of Africa's biggest artists, among other things. His 2014 single "Gallardo" featuring Davido first brought him under the international spotlight, followed by his 2015 full-length debut album Ghetto University, which included collaborations with DJ Khaled, Walshy Fire of Major Lazer, WizKid, Davido and more. On his quest to make an impact within entertainment, culture and beyond, Runtown has become the first Nigerian Artist to top charts in 20 countries simultaneously, and he's extended his reach beyond Africa, selling out shows in New York, Washington DC and O2 Indigo in London. He's also engaged in philanthropic work with his self-launched NGO, WANA (We Are New Africa), empowering underprivileged African youth and changing the world's perspective of the continent.
