Based in LA, soulful singer and songwriter Claire London released her new single “Easy Does It.” London’s new track explores a personal reflection on growth through dark times, encouraging people to be easy on themselves through life’s challenges and trust the journey.
This vibey track begins with London’s sultry vocals and delicate piano before transcending into a melodic electronic production with hard-hitting 808’s. Produced by John Ho (Kimber, BeBe Rexa), this soulful pop-influenced song serves as a transitional song for London’s career, introducing her fans to the artist she is now thanks to her life experiences.
With musical influences ranging from James Blake and Amy Winehouse to Bill Withers and Lana Del Rey, London has evolved into a more peaceful and joyful artist, both lyrically and aesthetically. Her new music gives us a soulful, moody pop flair compared to her debut album “Like A Machine” that was filled with distorted bass lines and bluesy pop/rock back in October 2011, as well as her dark pop EP, Hit the Switch, in 2014 that was heavier in tone. Crediting her British parents for providing her with a diverse musical upbringing, London has been writing and performing since the age of five.
