Skip Marley, whose history-making global hit "Slow Down" with Grammy© Award-winning artist H.E.R. reached #1 on the Billboard Adult R&B chart this spring, releases his eagerly anticipated new single “Make Me Feel” featuring fellow Miamian hitmaker Rick Ross and R&B songstress Ari Lennox via Tuff Gong/Island Records.
The new single launched with a first play from DJ Target on BBC 1XTRA. “Make Me Feel” and "Slow Down" are among the cornerstones of Skip’s long-awaited debut EP scheduled for release in August and found Skip collaborating with Nasri Atweh (Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Halsey) and once again with Rykeyz who also produced “Slow Down.”
“Make Me Feel” is a feel-good record with a groovy production accompanied with Ross’s effortless flow and Lennox’s sweet and soulful melodies singing the lyrics “let’s make this a good life even through the bad times,” a mantra that resonates louder today.
