Greenville, NC based songwriter and artist BuzzThaKid has a melodic wavy vibe that spirals in on the listeners emotions. Forming a musical passion at age nine through brass and percussion instruments, BuzzThaKid has developed impassioned lyrics and melodies to urge a profound response.
He accredits: J. Cole, Posty, Drake, Lil Tjay, King OSF, and isaacjacuzzi as his main influencers. Producer JC and Audio Engineer Dhurl (aided in the production of songs such as Suge – DaBaby) have played a large part in the production of his music. BuzzThaKid is a co-owner of Elevate The Label LLC, an indie label with a mission to aid artists in the development of their careers.
Separating from music, BuzzThaKid is senior candidate at East Carolina University for a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He has been writing and making music behind the scenes for around a year before recently dropping his first songs this June. He used that time to study music and continue to develop a unique style and sound. BuzzThaKid plans to drop an EP this coming fall, along with tasty visuals for unreleased and released singles such as “Scorin”, and “Cool Kids”, the DOPE joint we’re sharing with you below.
