Jafar Curry Releases His New Single "Sober", Off His Upcoming Album "The Tuxedo Bartender"
Singer-songwriter, pianist, and entertainer Jafar Curry’s song “On The Low” was featured on DCWS last spring and now he’s back with “Sober”, the newest single from his forthcoming January album release “The Tuxedo Bartender”.
“Sober” is about nightlife, entertainment, partying and the epic struggle that comes from not wanting to party but being drawn into one knowingly or unknowingly as a musician and social light. It is born directly from the pages of Jafar Curry’s life on tour and work over the last decade as a live musician, front man and entertainer. This song is for everyone and it’s about balance.
This single was recorded at the world renowned Codapop Studio in Halifax, Nova Scotia with contributions for Finland saxophone powerhouse Tuure Mäkinen, legendary drummer & percussionist Luis Alicea, Swedish rising star drummer Fabian Floyd Paulsson and long time collaborators Keni Michaels (Guitar) from Las Vegas and Trevoris Scott (Bass) of Florida.
