Duumu Unveils His New Single "Breathe Again" on Monstercat
Young future-pop maestro Duumu shares his signature feel good sound with his latest single "Breathe Again". The staccato beat paired with the gentle leading melody will have you in a daydream. "Breathe Again" not only speaks to the young producers past experiences, it captures a larger timeframe in his life embodying both the positives and negatives. Elaborating on the writing process of this song, Duumu says:
"Breathe Again" was started in July 2019, around when the production of the Talk EP was coming to an end. Over the course of the following 10 months the track would be scrapped and rewritten, rearranged, etc half a dozen times as my perspective continued to shift. "Breathe Again" as it is now, embodies everything I’ve experienced since the summer of 2019, all the inspiration and new knowledge, as well as all the negative experiences I’ve faced. This is by far the most personally important track I’ve released. In contrast to much of my other music, which is inspired by past events and experiences pinpointed in time, this track has evolved with me over the past year." – Duumu
