Detroit YB is Back With His Brand New Song "Tryna Get to God"
Detroit YB has been on a tirade, releasing powerful lyrically substantial music within the last 2 years. Coming off a very revealing and vulnerable EP called “4Closure,” YB is already working towards his 2nd album with the release of his new single “Tryna Get to God” (T.G.G) which has just arrived on DCWS.
Produced by Pozay Guwop Beats and mixed and mastered by Ashilee Ashilee, T.G.G is a very soul jerking and in depth record. As YB sets the tone on being used to the norm and adapting to toxic environments, he intends to break this cycle by exposing toxicity with the environment he grew up in and showing the audience that he’s here to make a difference.
YB also speaks on his friend and cousin who were murdered due to envy & hate and how he smiles through the pain but he’s hurting internally. This record is deeper than you might comprehend, when YB explains how we are “Tryna Get to God,” its only in the worse ways like doing drugs & murdering (Running backwards in the field “Tryna Get to God” -Detroit YB).
