Australian Singer-Songwriter Eliza Lee Drops Her Debut Single "Boo"

Eliza Lee has just released her debut single, “Boo.” The singer-songwriter and social media influencer’s debut track perfectly grasps the yearning for someone who lives far away. A true anthem for those that understand the heartache that accompanies long-distance relationships.

“I fell for someone who lived far away and despite trying to move on, I could not get them out of my head. This song was my way of giving into the feeling and simply saying, ‘I want you and I can’t fight it’. “Boo” is an insanely catchy song that is complemented by soothing breathy tones through the verses. Lee wrote with Grammy winner, Phillip White (Snoop Dog, JoJo) Mika Lett (P. Diddy, Avril Lavigne, Macy Gray). The track was produced with Brian Watters and two-time Grammy-nominated Masa Takumi (Trey Songz, Da Pump).

The release of this track leads up to the release of her first self-titled EP. Collaborators will include Trackheads (Snoop Dog, Trey Songz) Tyler Scott (Beyonce, Nikki) Dale Becker (Khalid, Zac White and Matt Wiggers “Tokyo” (Real Life, TVXQ!) and pop artist/ director George Maple (DJ Snake, Flume, Hayden James) Nicole Kohen (Meghan Trainor, Ryan Tedder) and more. The EP is set to release sometime in Spring 2020.

Eliza Lee has been writing and singing throughout her entire life, despite not growing up around any musicians. The Australian singer’s witty lyrics and addictive melodies caught the attention of an LA manager, who introduced her to some of the biggest writers and producers in the music industry. Eliza has since left her previous management agency and has found her own path as an independent artist. She is currently working with Kobalt Music Publishing (Pitbull, ZAYN, Lionel Richie, Sam Smith, Dua Lipa) and is constantly in-studio sessions, developing her own sound as well as writing with other artists/producers.
